Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools (SIAMS)
A SIAMS inspection is a process that evaluates the effectiveness of Church of England and Methodist schools. It focuses on the school’s Christian character, collective worship, and religious education. The inspection aims to ensure that these schools provide a high-quality, distinctively Christian education.
The purpose of SIAMS is to help a school to be the very best Church school it can be, living out its original foundation through its theologically rooted Christian vision.
Our school was inspected on 7th February 2017 and was judged to be outstanding.
Schools are typically due for SIAMS inspection every five years. Currently, there is an eight-year schedule in place due to inspections being halted throughout the Covid-19 pandemic.
