Worship

Our school is a Church of England Primary School and is part of the Diocese of Leeds family of school. Worship is an integral part of the school day. A rolling programme of worship is published for each half term with Christian Values central to it. We start each week with our ‘Open the Book’ worship and this is linked to the theme for the week. A mixture of whole school and key stage worship takes place in the school hall, in one of our two local churches and class worship takes place in classrooms.  Worship is led by members of our local clergy, school staff  or pupils.

Our weekly worship looks like this: 

Monday: Open the Book worship in the school hall.

Tuesday: Class worship in classrooms.

Wednesday: Key Stage worship in the school hall.

Thursday: Class worship in classrooms and Holy Trinity church.

Friday: Celebration worship in the school hall.
