Online safety is a priority at our school.  By implementing the following measures, we aim to create a safe and supportive digital environment, fostering responsible online behaviour and preparing children to navigate the digital world with confidence and awareness.

Digital Literacy Education: From EYFS to Year 6, we integrate age-appropriate digital literacy education into the curriculum, empowering children with the knowledge and skills to navigate the online world safely and responsibly.

Safe Internet Use Policies: We have clear and comprehensive policies in place regarding internet use. These guidelines ensure that online activities align with our school's behaviour aspirations, and children understand the importance of responsible online behaviour.

Filtered and Monitored Internet Access: Our school employs internet filtering and monitoring tools to restrict access to inappropriate content, providing a safer online experience for children while they engage in educational activities.

Supervised Internet Use: Teachers closely supervise children’s internet use during school hours, guiding them to explore online resources that enhance their learning experience and ensure a secure online environment.

Cyberbullying Prevention: We proactively address cyberbullying and promote a culture of respect and empathy. Our anti-bullying policies extend to online spaces, fostering a positive and inclusive digital community.

Parental Involvement: We encourage parents to be actively involved in their child's online activities. Regular communication and resources are provided to help parents support their children at home.

Regular Online Safety Training: Both children and teachers receive regular training on online safety, including recognising potential risks, protecting personal information, and reporting any concerns promptly.

Secure Digital Platforms: We use secure and age-appropriate digital tools for online learning, ensuring that children’s data is protected and that the platforms prioritise privacy and security.
