Medication

Low Moor C. of E. Primary School will ensure that pupils with medical conditions receive appropriate care and support at school, in order for them to have full access to education and remain healthy.  This includes the safe storage and administration of pupils’ medication.

The school is committed to ensuring that parents feel confident that we will provide effective support for their child’s medical condition, and make the pupil feel safe whilst at school.

If your child requires an inhaler or other medicine in school, please complete the consent form below and bring your child’s medicine to the school office. School can only administer medicine that has been prescribed by a doctor. If your child has prescribed antibiotics, school can administer if they are required 4 times a day. Medicine will not be administered without consent.
